The 1st property we purchased and renovated was previously run as a 10 bed licensed HMO, occupied by students, and in need of significant investment and refurbishment. The vendor had owned the property for approximately 20 years and had plans to retire, with no desire to undertake any improvements himself.
Our plan was to purchase the property for cash, completely gut the house, re-plaster, rewire, add a gas powered heating system, re-draw room plans to allow for 10 en-suite bedrooms and increase the size of the 2 kitchens. Now completed, the property is furnished to a high standard throughout and will appeal to 1st /2nd jobbers working at; Rolls Royce, Boots, MBNA, East Midlands Airport.
